Academic Programs

The Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management offers bachelor’s (B.S.) and master’s (M.A., M.S.) degrees, as well as a Dietetic Internship Program, preparing students to become professional managers, counselors, and leaders in the foodservice and healthcare industries.

Programs cover a broad base of nutrition issues with coursework that is closely linked to trends in the professional field. Students gain a solid foundation of knowledge and experience upon which they will eventually build their careers.

Graduates of the programs work in a variety of settings where food and nutrition is of central importance, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, hotels, resorts, restaurants, social service agencies, and school systems.
