Quality Infant/Toddler Caregiving Workshop
QIC is offered for academic credit or for non-credit. Students who want to earn academic credit may register through the Department of Child and Family Studies (CFS 535) or the School of Education (EDU 535), for graduate or undergraduate credit, for two or three credits. The three-credit option is available for students who contract with Professor Honig for additional assignments. Students must have permission before registering for the third credit.
Caregivers who would like to attend the workshop for professional development may choose to register for the new non-credit option (NCC 203) at a special practitioner's rate. The non-credit option will not be graded and is not applicable towards an SU degree.
A certificate of completion will be awarded to all participants at the end of the workshop.
Students are strongly encouraged to register by the beginning of May so that they can be assured of housing and enrollment in the class. In the event that an interested student cannot register by this date, registration is available up to and including the first day of class.
